Substance abuse is a big health, social and economic problem all over the world and in America. In the 2017 teen drug use survey the NIH found that the 0.8% of the 8th graders uses marijuana over daily bases compared to the 5.9% of the 12th graders. Related to E-vaporizers, they are used by the 27.8% of the 12th graders. And it is of note that teens are more likely to use marijuana than cigarettes in a 5.9% vs. 4.25% relation. Related to prescription drugs the proportions go from 1.35 of Ritalin users to the 5.5% of Adderall, compared to illicit drugs that goes from 0.4% of Heroin to 3.7% of Synthetic Cannabinoids (synthetic marijuana) ending with the alarming 37.1% of the combination of Marijuana/Hashish. All these numbers just in the teen 12th graders population.
